Rock 365 : Day 304 : Fluvioglacial Sediments

20101031

Day 304 : Still on Anglesey on a glacial landform fieldtrip. Much
discussion relating to the relationship between the fluvioglacial
channel and the near vertical faulting. It was suggested that an ice
block buried within the sediments melts out causes subsidence and
localises the channel. From Gored Tre-castell, near Beaumaris,
Anglesey, Wales.
