Rock 365 : Day 300 : Pegmatite

Day 300 : I’ve reached the milestone of 300 rocks – this is one of my
favourite samples from my personal collection. It is a granite
pegmatite with huge feldspar and biotite crystals. It was collected on
a Keele field course to Norway in 1991 from the Narestø Feldspar
Quarry, Flosta Island, Arendal, Aust-Agder, Norway.
