Rock 365 : Day 36 : Hollington Red #365photos

Day 36 : The companion to yesterday’s Hollington White, is today’s Hollington Red.   It is just an unbleached version with the red iron staining still present.  In fact this photo is just at the other end of the same sample as yesterday.  Hollington Red has been used in many Staffordshire buildings but its most famous use is probably Coventry Cathedral.
