Rock 366 : Day 170 : Hollington White
Day 170 : Day visit to London but so rushed that I didn’t have time to take a photo and the Royal Geographical Society doesn’t have any rocks. This is a block of Hollington White in the walls of the Minster Church of St Peter ad Vincula in Stoke-Upon-Trent shot on the walk home from the station. Note the small faults picked out by the baryte cement and the cross-bedding showing that the block has been laid upside down.
