Rock 366 : Day 40 : Portland Limestone

Day 40 : Down in London for a conference at the Geological Society in Piccadilly. These are fossil molds in the Portland Limestone in the new facing of the recently refurbished Green Park tube station.

It is part of an art installation by artist John Maine who has added his own carvings.  The real ones are better though.
