Day 41 : This is Grinshill White, or more correctly the white facies
of the Helsby Sandstone. This Lower Triassic sandstone from the
Cheshire Basin is the lateral equivalent of the Hollington Sandstone
(Days 35 and 36) from the Needwood Basin and the Bromsgrove Sandstone
(Day 34) from the Stafford Basin. All of them used to be the Lower
Keuper Sandstone. This is from the Grinshill Quarry itself.
